Mamavation Monday 2/8 Edition
Buzz Words: just me mama B, Mamavation, Mamavation Monday
Yes I've missed 2 weeks of #Mamavation monday posts (Congrats again to the Mamavation Mom winners @lisasamples & @frugalfemina). With traveling, eating out, getting snowed in with little groceries, emotional eating and lack of desire to exercise and not caring what I ate I have gained 10 lbs back on in 2 weeks. I didnt want it to happen of course but I didn't care at the time what I did or didn't do. After doing some reading and praying for all most an hour the other night I am back in this and am ready to get back to getting healthy.
I have drank 32 oz. of water today so far and I have walked 4 miles in about 45 minutes.
Breakfast:
Delights breakfast croissant sandwich- 5 pts
MM light OJ- 1 pt.
Lunch:
heiners 35 wheat bread- 1 pt.
OM deli sliced ham- 1 pt.
ff mayo- 0.5
Special K chocolate drizzle bar- ? havent looked up point value yet
tea- 2 pts.
Snack:
Dont know yet
Dinner:
pork
green giant broccoli & cheese single serve- 1 pt
not sure what else I'll add in
I have dial up internet right now so it's hard for me to join in the #mamavation and #petecohen chats but I will continue to try and as soon as the weather gets clear enough here Daddy B says we will be getting better (faster) internet service.
Success this week? I lost 2 lbs. since yesterday morning and Im not feeling like a failure this week!
Chanllenges this week? Oh yes! As I said before I am an emotional eater. When ever Im sad or upset or mad I eat. Im working on that though. And b/c of my lack of caring/ eating (eating junk and no exercise) I gained 10 lbs back on.

Good Luck! I've noticed that by working out I can get a lot of the stress out which helps with the emotional eating part of things. Sounds like you are getting right back on track!
Hey there, you know what you need to do. Work on plan and stick to it. Congrats on the 2 pounds and learn from your behavior with those 10 pounds.
You can do it!!! Jump back on this wagon and we will help you hold on!
It's good to see you back. Emotional eating is EVIL, lol...I go through it too but I know if I screw up I can try to fix it. WTG, on the lbs. lost! You did a lot of walking and that is awesome...don't get discouraged when something doesn't go right, let the sistahs know if there is something we need to do, lil pep talk, advise, etc. We are here and want to see you succeed :)
hugs you can do it when you feel the need to eat do something else or call a friend and talk
Find distractions to emotional eating, or make yourself do something to "earn it". I drink 16 oz of water in the morning to "earn" my coffee - maybe if you do 10 push ups and 10 sit ups before allowing yourself a snack, you won't want it anymore by the time you're done.
This is what I want you to do: stop looking back. I don't want you to think about the last two weeks or the weight gain ANYMORE. Please don't. Please. Please. Please.
You are moving forward. We support you here. Looking back will keep you stuck in a rut. XXOO
