Robeez Soft Soles1 Robeez Gives Back

I just did a review of Robeez and posted a giveaway last week. Now through Dec. 23 ’09 for every pair of Robeez soft sole shoes purchased, Robeez will donate a pair to K.I.D.S (Kids In Distressed Situations). My favorite soft sole Robeez are the Race Car. K.I.D.S brings hope and self-esteem to children in need and their families by providing new clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, books and juvenile products donated by leading manufacturers and retailers. The donations move through their network of community social service agencies in the U.S. and abroad to reach children who are ill, living in poverty, or are the victims of natural disasters. Robeez and twittermoms.com want to know how do you plan to give back this holiday season?

How do I and the B’s plan to give back this year? Hopefully we will get to carry on the tradition of delivering fruit bags to the elderly apartment building where my great grandma lived before she got ill. I love leaving goodies secretly for all of them. Some of the people there have no family left so to let them know that even if they think they are all alone they really aren’t. That someone does care about them.

I also like to let Little B pick an angel from one of the local Angel trees at the mall. He knows that not all little boys and girls are as fortunate as him and his brother. We also do the Toys for Tots. The most recent one here was held at Wal Mart by 94.9 Star country radio station.

We also donate to the local Food Pantry but that’s not just a seasonal thing, I do this through the entire year. Along with taking clothes and toys to Goodwill. I love helping others and not just a certain times of the year when some people think that they have to do something for someone just because its Christmas. You should want to do something for someone even if its the middle of summer so please if you can help give back, Do it! I know that most people are feeling the pinch when it comes to the economy so if you can’t donate money in any way know that your time is worth just as much so you can volunteer your services some where.
