*Closed* Smartipants Cloth Diapers + Giveaway

Theres a new cloth diaper on the block! Let me introduce you to Smartipants. Smartipants is a One Size (adjustable rise) "sleeve" cloth diaper with 2 microfiber inserts. You can buy the smartipants as individuals or in a smart start pack of 3 (in boy or girl colors). You can also get a 10 pack of the smartipants inserts seperately.
Smartipants has a mission. To provide smart parents with smart diaper solutions. Smartipants are 100% green (enviromentally friendly), economical and proudly made in the USA.
The smartipants are considered a "smarter than average diaper" for multiple reasons. I wanted to test one of these bad boys out to see just how smart they really were. I'll breakdown each smarter than average reason and give my opinion as to how smart it really is.
First of all, this is a snaps diaper. So if you have read my other cloth diaper posts yall know I love me some snap diapers. Smartipants uses the most durable YKK snaps available. They are strong enough that Baby B cant get this sucker off and even I had trouble the first time *blush*. This diaper is also a "pocket" diaper, kind of. The smartipants has a diaper "sleeve" that the inserts go in and out of. More about the sleeve in a moment. The smartipants is also very trim for a one size diaper. No bulk but plenty of coverage.

The other main "smarter than average diaper" point is the Smart Sleeve. The Smart Sleeve is very similar to a pocket of any other cloth diaper excpet its open on both ends. This seemed a little worrysome to me at first I didnt think the inserts would stay in place because both ends were open. The coolest thing to me about the Smart Sleeve? I didn have to stick my hand in a pocket and pull the wet/dirty inserts out to wash. You just put the diaper in the wash unsnapped and the insert comes out on its own in the wash. I didnt believe it at first until I tried it myself. They really do come out in the wash by them selves!
Baby B's over all test:
Day time wear: Smartipants (with only 1 insert) is a great daytime wear diaper for him. No pulling his diaper off and streaking or going potty in the floor. No leaks. Grade: A+
Nap time wear: Same as always give him some milk, wait and then let him take his 2 hour nap. He woke up dry and insert stayed in the sleeve. Grade: A+
Night time wear: After his snack he went to bed at 8pm and slept until 7:30am the next morning. We tried this with one insert in the sleeve so I was expecting wet sheets and jammies when I went I got him out of the bed. There was only 1 little wet spot on the waist of the diaper but not enough to get anything else wet and it was NOT from diaper leak, the waist of Baby B's pants had rolled the waist of the diaper down so the next time we tried the smartipants out we used it with a different pair of jammies and no wet spots. Grade: A++
Over all the smartipants diapers are indeed pretty smart. Smart for the baby, Mommy's wallet and the environment. You can be a smartimom (or dad) too and get these affordable diapers for only $14.95 ea. Mind, Yellow, pink, seaspray or maybe just white. I would love the opportunity to try them out. I use bumgenius right now and love them. I have 8 diapers and do laundry every day. Additional diapers would be a blessing and it would be neat to see how these compare to the ones I use now.
