Since I started cloth diapering all most a year ago (yay!) I have avoided diaper rash creams/ ointments as much as possible for multiple reasons. (1) With my hand eczema I had to wear gloves to touch the stuff so it wouldn’t flair up my hands. (2) I don’t like to buy or keep up with liners to go in the cloth diapers so they wouldn’t get messed up. Zinc can leave an all most water proof barrier on your cloth diapers, ruining their abosrbancy ( a cloth diaper no no!).
Enter, Jo and her fabulous online boutique Let’s Go Strolling. Let’s Go Strolling carries a large selection of products. From designer diaper bags and baby gear to Highchairs and ofcourse strollers of all types and everything in between. Have a gift you need to buy for a new Mom or Dad or a babyshower to attend? Check out Lets Go Strolling’s Gift section. They really do have lots to offer in just about any baby topic you can think of. They also have a blog you can read: Strolling Along.
Thanks to Lets Go Strolling my diaper rash dilemmas are over! Jo offered me a chance to review Dimpleskins Naturals Bum Bum Balm Diaper Salve.
Oh my goodness I love using our Bum Bum Balm! It has been a great product. Dimpleskins Bum Bum Balm is 100% all natural and made with less than 10 ingredients that I can pronounce: Coconut Oil, pure Beeswax, Organic Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Organic Calendula Oil (infused in Sunflower Oil) Cocoabutter, Vitamin E Oil (derived from pure Soybean oil), pure Lavender Essential Oil. Daddy B was happy to see a pure beeswax product of course. Dimpleskins Natural Bum Bum Balm is also cruelty free which means no animal testing. It is zinc free so no harmful chemicals on baby or me and no waterproofing to our cloth diaper stash. Dimpleskins Naturals also uses recycled material to make the eco friendly packaging that the Bum Bum Balm comes in.
I can safely use it without wearing my gloves. It has actually even helped my excema since we started using it. I have used our tin on my hands and Baby B’s bottom. Bum Bum Balm goes on light and allows the skin to breathe but the beeswax still protects the rasah from moisture. A little of this stuff goes a long ways, as you can see. We have been using our tin of Bum Bum Balm for a month now and you can see what little of a dent we have put in our tin.
Lets Go Strolling & Dimpleskins Naturals Bum Bum Balm both get an A+ from Mama B.!
