How I organize my coupons

by Shanaka on April 25, 2009

After collecting coupons for a couple weeks my coupon folder could no longer hold up to the pressure of storing all my coupons. Luckily I found this from That’s Just Nifty Thrifty and my coupon binder is now like my 3rd child and goes with me everywhere.

 How I organize my coupons

The binder it self cost $9.99 at Wal Mart. The dividers I all ready had and the baseball card holder pages I also got at Wal Mart. Its a zippered binder (since I’m a butterfingers) this keeps me from losing coupons and it also keeps Mr Kyle from pulling everything out on to the floor. The front of the binder has a zippered pocket and flap. This is behind the flap. I keep my scissors and extra CVS card and pens in there.

Left side of the binder has a couple made in dividers. I keep my sales papers in there and IP coupons that havent been cut out yet.

Now for the meat and taters of my binder. I used dividers with pockets and I put each catergory on an index card in black marker inside each pocket. Along with putting stickers on each tab.

Its all in what works for you (trial and error). If you have another system that works for you please share it with me. I have some family members that want to find a way to organize that works for them. If I can pass along an idea that may work for them Id love to help them or anyone else that could benefit from your tips. You can read more coupon storage systems in my Coupon Beginnings post.
